SERES - support after volcano eruption in Guatemala
We are starting this week's Engagement Opportunities with sad news: the volcano eruption in Guatemala which happened just where our partner the youth Center of SERES is. SERES is organizing urgent and long term response. If you would like to make a donation to a local and trustful organization, here is what you can do:1. You can make a donation directly to SERES here. This will be used for our immediate response now - purchasing supplies, gas, food - and to help us continuing to support our youth and their families in the days and weeks ahead and helping them to rebuild their lives and their homes.
2. If you would prefer to help with rebuilding and infrastructure projects, we recommend making a donation to this GoFundMe campaign from our friends here at the Impact Hub. We will be coordinating with them through our community contacts to ensure help arrives where it is most needed. Please note that these funds will take 25 days to arrive.

Wie sieht die Zukunft der Markthalle Bern aus? Wir wissen es nicht. Uns interessiert vor allem, wie deren Zukunft aussehen könnte! Deshalb haben wir die Ideen Kampagne „Markthalle Ideen“ ins Leben gerufen und möchten mit allen, denen die Markthalle am Herzen liegt, frische Ideen entwickeln, wie man diesen fantastischen Ort wieder beleben könnte.
Wir würden uns sehr freuen, wenn du in irgendeiner Form an unserem „Ideen Hackathon“, der am 30. Juni in einem grossen Event im Impact Hub Bern münden wird, mitwirken könntest.
Gib deine Ideen auf unserer Webseite ein oder bleib über unsere Facebook Seite informiert. Dort publizieren wir laufend die neuesten Stories. Allenfalls kannst du die Seite mit deinen Freunden teilen. Mobilisiere dein Netzwerk! Zum Beispiel könntet ihr selbst Ideen entwickeln und ein kleines Video dazu drehen. Du könntest am 30. Während die Plätze für unbegleitete minderjährige Asylsuchende leider bereits besetzt sind, suchen wir aktuell junge Menschen im Alter von 14 bis 20 Jahren, die in der Schweiz geboren oder aufgewachsen sind.
